Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut’s verbal spat escalated?

Was Kangana Ranaut the target of Karan Johar’s wrath for being accused of nepotism?

Since Kangana Ranaut referred to Karan Johar as a disrespectful movie mafia and a poster child for nepotism on his show, the terms “Karan Johar” and “nepotism” have become interchangeable. And to this day, he has been seen as the villain who is unjust to outsiders and gives opportunities to dubious people who are somehow connected to this sector. Recently, the filmmaker was asked to respond to the concern that he was being associated with the nepotism controversy as if he were the only source and spokesperson for the term.

But this time, the director didn’t try to make a compelling case or refute the nepotism label. He even mentioned how Alia Bhatt has been a target of constant criticism for his film choices.

The director of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani responded to the nepotism controversy by saying, “Call me all the names you want eventually that negativity is eating that person up, not me. Kangana Ranaut has repeatedly accused me of nepotism. I’ve chosen the high road in life, and when you do, you cannot alter your way of being according to what others may think. I’m rising beyond it.

He even mentioned including famous children in his films, describing it as a privilege and access that may lead to a lucrative opportunity. “Maybe I’ve seen something, maybe I have access to that something, why shouldn’t I leverageit ,” Karan replied.

For those who are unaware, Kangana Ranaut recently called Ranveer Singh a cartoon in response to the actor being cast in Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahaani. Alia Bhatt and Kangana’s conflict is already in the past. This time, when responding to the accusations, Karan Johar was unrepentant and even declared war on the nepotism discussion.

Head of Dharma Productions: “I haven’t apologised and I won’t apologise for anything. I’ll cast the candidate I believe is best. It doesn’t matter if that person is related to someone in the business. Like my first child, Alia. You can keep saying things and calling me whatever you want, but I will always adore her in public and in person, and she will always be a part of my life.

After expressing his wish to watch Kangana Ranaut’s film Emergency, Karan Johar recently reached out to her. She claimed that there was a moment when the filmmaker indicated a wish to watch her film Manikarnika, and it was the biggest smear campaign of her life. However, in response to this, she perceived this as a threat walking towards her.

We wonder if the actress has a similar perspective now that the filmmaker has publicly declared war on the nepotism discussion and dubbed it his decision and privilege.
