Produced by Ishari K. Ganesh under Vels Film International, this film was first called ‘D54’. During Pongal, the official title KARA was announced, and the first-look poster went viral.
At the ‘Nakshatra 2026’ event in Vels University, Ishari K. Ganesh confirmed that the film will release in theatres on April 30th. He also said it is his dream to produce Vada Chennai 2 with Dhanush.
The film is directed by Vignesh Raja with music by GV Prakash Kumar. Mamitha Baiju plays the heroine. The poster hints at an intense action story.
Few reports say Dhanush plays Karasamami a cotton farmer who fights against injustice. The film is expected to perform well during the summer holidays without fail.
