Recently released Kannada blockbuster, Kantara had a theatrical release in Telugu on October 15th. Opened to positive word of mouth in Telugu as well, Kantara is minting solid revenues at the ticket windows.
As per the trade reports, Kantara collected more than Rs 11 crore gross in the first two days at the Telugu box office. As per the reports from our sources, Kantara had a rock-solid day at the ticket windows on Monday. Reportedly, the film has collected more than Rs 3 crore gross on its first Monday in twin Telugu states.
Released by Allu Arvind’s Geetha Arts banner in Telugu, Kantara acted and directed by Kannada star Rishab Shetty is a rural drama set in a period backdrop. Along with Rishab Shetty’s directional skills, B Ajaneesh Loknath’s music and Arvind S Kashyap’s cinematography work have been receiving tremendous response from audience across the globe.
