Kangana’s upcoming film gets a title change

After a lot of buzz was created around the word Mental, Kangana Ranaut and Rajkummar Rao’s Mental Hai Kya gets a title change. As per the latest report, the film is now titled Judgemental Hai Kya. According to what we have heard, the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) had a long discussion with Kangana Ranaut and the producers, where they elaborately discussed on the issues around the title.

Here, the makers have talked about issues considering the Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS). The word ‘mental’ in the title has irked IPS as they call it very much insensitive when it comes to nature of people. It was collectively decided that the film will get a new title. Calling someone mental is something that is about someone who is suffering and battling from mental illness.

The shoot of the film has been completed and with U/A, the release has been pushed to next week.
