Kangana’s Thalaivi to follow Rana’s Aranya strategy

Bollywood top actress Kangana Ranaut has played the role of Tamilnadu legendary actor and politician Jayalalitha in her upcoming movie Thalaivi. The movie’s theatrical trailer has got a tremendously positive response. Kangana Ranaut perfectly suits Jayalalitha and her performance is going to be the major attraction for the movie.

Thalaivi is scheduled for April 23rd release in Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi. However, with the rise in the Covid positive cases, the Maharashtra government has imposed a weekend lockdown and has also decided to shut down the theaters.

This decision means that Thalaivi will be postponed in Hindi indefinitely. However, the Thalaivi team has decided to go ahead with the Telugu and Tamil releases. Recently, Rana’s Aranya did the same. The film got released in Telugu and Tamil but the Hindi release has been postponed. Now, the Thalaivi team is following the same strategy.
