The BJP official who assisted Kangana Ranaut in setting up a meeting with Rajnath Singh was promised a 15-second part in Tejas as compensation.
Tejas and Emergency, two of Kangana Ranaut’s recent flicks, have been making headlines. She plays an Air Force officer in the first film while directing the second. But the movie has run into difficulty, and a friend of Ranaut’s who assisted her in getting Tejas’ approval has decided to sue the actress for breaking her vows and cheating. The friend is a BJP MLA by the name of Mayank Madhur.
Madhur recently admitted that he was the one who tried to arrange a meeting with Rajnath Singh, the defence minister, to obtain permissions about Tejas. But he had a personal reason for doing it. He was thrilled when a 15-minute Tejas role was promised to him, and he was even happier until it was trimmed
Mayank Madhur has previously asserted that he was offered false promises when he asked Kangana Ranaut and her team to pay for his efforts. Now, the BJP leader claimed in an exclusive interview that he arranged meetings for Kangana Ranaut with chief ministers for her films, including Shivraj Singh Chouhan ji and Hemant Biswa ji. Additionally, he set up their meeting with Rajnath Singh, the defence minister.
Mayank was cited as saying, “Kangana and I have a long history. When she performed in the theatre at Asmita, I first met her. He continued by saying that despite being given a job, nothing was done formally or on paper. These negotiations took place at The Leela Hotel in New Delhi before we met the minister and in front of Rajnath Singh, he continued. There is no contract you sign when a buddy asks for your assistance. Everything relies on trust. She also feels like family. She made a pledge, but she broke it, and that bothers me.
In his interview, Madhur Mayank also revealed that Kangana Ranaut tried for two years to get approval to film Tejas but was unsuccessful. He set everything up in a single day. The 10-minute meeting with Rajnath Singh took two hours instead of the allotted time. He even asserts that he requested the minister’s assistance by saying, “Apni Hi Bacchi Hai, Please Inki Help Kar Dijiye.” Kangana even requested that she petition for permission to film in Air Force bases, Delhi, Rajasthan, Moradabad, and Lucknow. Nevertheless, his screen time diminished during the course of the movie. When his fifteen-minute part was modified to one of two minutes, he turned it down.
In the same interview, the BJP leader also disclosed that he was promised associate producer credit for Tiku Weds Sheru but was only given a special thanks instead. The BJP leader now intends to file a lawsuit in court against the deceit and false promises, and he is keen about having the filmmakers imprisoned and the distribution of the movie halted.
