Kangana Ranaut Upset Over Emergency Ban In Punjab

Actress-politician Kangana Ranaut on Monday took to her social media accounts to express deep concern over her film Emergency not releasing in Punjab. She also expressed gratitude to the audiences for showering love and support on her latest release. The actress also reacted to the protests against the film in Canada and Britain.

Speaking in Hindi, Kangana first began the video by thanking her fans for the love they showed to her film and said, “You have given so much love and respect to our film. We don’t have words to express our gratitude for the love.”

She continued in Hindi, “I still have pain in my heart. Punjab. It was said in the industry that my films perform the best in Punjab. And today, my film isn’t even being allowed to release there.”

Talking about the protest over the Emergency, she added, “Some attacks are also taking place in Canada and Britain. A few people, some chosen ones, have started this fire. You and I are both burning in that fire.”

“My principles and my attachment towards my country are proven through this film. You watch the film and decide if it breaks us or brings us together,” she concluded.
