Kangana Ranaut, an actress, and filmmaker, discusses the casting of a newcomer like Avneet Kaur in her upcoming film “Tiku Weds Sheru.”
For her upcoming film, “Tiku Weds Sheru,” actress and director Kangana Ranaut has suggested using a beginner like Avneet Kaur. She said that one of her main goals is to actually attract talented newcomers to the film industry.
When asked how she would present someone novel and distinctive like Avneet Kaur, Kangana Ranaut responded, “Yes I am launching a newcomer but as a producer I’am not focusing on capitalism, I’m focusing on genuinely bringing talent and outsiders into the film industry.”
Kangana Ranaut added, “Yes, I want to work with Avneet Kaur again but I haven’t done any three film contracts which is a very common practice with any newcomers, and to take up a huge percentage of their brands, events, and films for the rest of their life”.
Kangana Ranaut said she doesn’t want them to submit to her or let her run their lives.
“There is no such thing as who she should date or what she should wear or work with”.
She further said, “I want to stop this because all such practices have made the industry a very negative place.”
On launching Avneet Kaur, Kangana said: “She has all my love and blessings and is completely free to follow her dreams. Also in the future whoever I launch, will never ever try to control their lives and career.”
For the first time, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Avneet Kaur will work together on the eccentric love story “Tiku Weds Sheru.”
Manikarnika Films, owned by Kangana Ranaut, is supporting the film, which will make its Prime Video debut.
