Irrfan Khan’s close friend Kangana Ranaut sent the late actor a touching tribute on social media.
Kangana Ranaut, an actress and filmmaker, uploaded a photo of the late, renowned actor Irrfan Khan on social media in remembrance of him.
We were supposed to be Tiku and Sheru today while we stand so near to its premiere, Kangana remarked in an Instagram story after sharing a throwback photo of herself and the late actor. Irfan Saab’s charisma, humor, and compassion as an actor are much missed.
Kangana revealed that the movie was originally going to be called “Divine Lovers” and that she was going to work on it with the late actress during the trailer debut of her production “Tiku Weds Sheru”. She also discussed the film’s postponement.
She revealed that the film’s release was delayed by the filmmaker Sai Kabir Srivastav’s illness, which lasted for three to four years. Irrfan Khan had passed away by the time the director resumed his job in 2020.
The movie “Tiku Weds Sheru” is described as the story of two oddballs, starry-eyed people who wish to succeed in Bollywood. The movie is a sort of love letter to visitors to our city who get lost but ultimately discover something much more significant.
On June 23, “Tiku weds Sheru” will be available on Prime Video.
When speaking about Irrfan Khan earlier, Kangana stated, “We were extremely good friends. We were a part of the same group when I was filming Revolver Rani because of Tigmanshu (Dhulia) sir and Sai Kabir. Together, we used to jam. We did not become close during our time spent working together in Knockout. However, we eventually decided to work together on Divine Lovers, an Indo-French film in which we had love scenes opposite one another. I got to spend a lot of time with him during that period. Although I know Irrfan ji later attempted to revive that project, it was sadly shelved.
