A fake social media post claiming that Kangana Ranaut asked PM Narendra Modi to appoint her as India’s next Education Minister has gone much viral.
The AI image was made to look like her Insta Story and included satirical remarks about education and the NEET exam.
Few reports confirmed that Kangana never shared such a post and she has not responded to the misinformation for sure.
Meanwhile Dharmendra Pradhan resigned as Union Education Minister after facing much criticism over alleged examination irregularities, including the NEET-UG controversy.
He said he accepted responsibility and thanked the P.M for the opportunity to serve. Following his resignation Pralhad Joshi took charge as the new Union Education Minister on July 25th 2026.
