After facing criticism for supporting the return of the repealed farm laws, Kangana Ranaut clarified that her comments were her personal views and did not reflect her party’s official position.
The controversy began when she spoke at an event by urging the government to reconsider the farm laws.
In response She took to Twitter to separate her comments from the BJP, saying, “I also have to keep this in mind. I am not just an artist.
I am a worker of the BJP, and my opinions should align with the party’s position, not just be my own. If I have disappointed anyone with my words, I am sorry and I take my words back”.

At the event, Ranaut mentioned that the protests against the farm laws were mainly in a few states. She said, “Farmers are essential for India’s progress. Only in some states do people object to the farm laws. I respectfully appeal that the farm laws should be brought back for the benefit of farmers.”
She argued that reintroducing the laws would provide better financial stability for farmers and help grow the agricultural sector.
