Kangana Ranaut has responded to the criticism she received after old clips from her films and public appearances went viral.
The backlash came after her recent comments about a section of Gen Z which sparked debate online. Many people shared scenes from her movies and videos from public events accusing her of being hypocritical.
Reacting to the criticism, Kangana said people should not compare the fictional characters she plays in films with her real life views or behaviour for sure.
She explained that actors are paid to perform roles that are meant only for entertainment. According to her using movie scenes as real life examples can confuse young people by blurring the line between fiction and reality.
Kangana shared her response through Insta Stories, saying cinema and real life should always be seen as separate for sure.
