Sonakshi Sinha’s performance in Dahaad has apparently left Kamya Punjabi unsatisfied, as she makes fun of her acting skills.
The suspenseful thriller series Dahaad, directed by Reema Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, has debuted on a well-liked OTT platform. Many people appreciated Sonakshi Sinha, Vijay Verma, and other actors for their performances, while TV actress Kamya Punjabi was less than delighted with Sonakshi’s.
Kamya has been employed by the television sector for more than 20 years and appears to be happy with the format. She did, however, make a subtle jab at the Bollywood actress and her skill as an actor as shown in the thriller series.
According to reports, Kamya Punjabi explained how artists work in a variety of media without any acting training. She also opposes designating actors as movie, television, or OTT stars. Even said, she admitted that some performers find it challenging to justify the roles they play or the works they contribute to.
Kamya Punjabi provided a subtle viewpoint that references to Sonakshi Sinha and her most recent web series, Dahaad, without directly making fun of Sonakshi Sinha. There are actors in projects who don’t know the basics of acting, according to the saying “Bahut saare projects mein aise log dikhte hain jin ko acting ka A bhi nahi aata.”
She further added, “Sorry, but I won’t name them. Recently, I watched a web show in which a big personality, the daughter of a very big actor, made her debut. I started that show aur mujh se ek episode se zyada hazam nahi hua because unko bilkul acting nahi aati (I couldn’t watch after one episode because the artiste doesn’t know how to act). But what can one do… she is the daughter of a veteran, and then she is doing the web show.”
The well-known actress Kamya Punjabi, who has been on the television programmes Sanjog, Piya Ka Ghar, Doli Armaanon Ki, and Shakti Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki, said she is not the type of person who would want to work in the film or OTT industries. Punjabi prioritises watching television since she likes it.
