“Our director has fallen extremely ill. The unfortunate setback occurred when we were on the fourth day of our recce in LA. He is diagnosed with Lyme disease, a rare infection prevalent in Europe and North America. From here on, I will direct the film. Yes, I have directed before. This time I moved in as a standby director hoping my friend will recover, which he will, but not in time to wrap up the movie as planned by August,” he says. Meanwhile, Rajeev is being treated in LA.

“Right now the entire focus is on getting Rajeev Kumar back on his feet.” Kamal confirms. The movie is a trilingual and we are all aware of Kamal’s really good directorial skills as he has previously helmed legendary films such as Hey Ram and Chachi 420.
