Kamal Haasan’s trilingual comic caper, Sabhash Naidu, also starring Brahmanandam and Shruti Haasan, has reportedly been facing a visa glitch. So for now the shooting of the film has been stalled for a while. A few action sequences and reportedly the climax was supposed to be shot at US with Kamal Haasan and Brahmanadam.
The latter had earlier told us how excited he was about sharing screen space or bitter about the entire thing. The veteran actor simply said, “We can’t blame them for being extra-cautious, considering the times we’re going through. God knows, America has enough problems to deal with.” He was later quoted as saying, “There were 40 of us and some names on the passports raised problems.” Kamal’s name also might have created a problem but the actor says, “It’s all sorted now. And we leave two weeks behind schedule.”
