Kamal Haasan Requests Fans To Drop Titles

Kamal Haasan has experienced many highs and lows in his career, with fans affectionately calling him “Ulaganayagan”.

However, Kamal recently asked his fans to stop using titles and to call him simply Kamal Haasan or KH.

He expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’ve always been humbled by titles like Ulaganayagan given by fans, colleagues, and admirers”.

“Cinema is beyond one person, it’s a joint effort of many artists, technicians, and viewers, showing humanity’s diverse stories”.

Kamal believes that the artist should not be put above the art. He wants to stay grounded and focus on improving himself.

So, he kindly requests that fans, the media, and everyone else simply call him Kamal Haasan or KH. This decision, he said, is about staying humble and staying true to his love for cinema as a shared art form.
