Kamal Haasan Clears Air On Thalaivar 173

Sundar C has suddenly stepped away from Thalaivar 173, Rajinikanth’s next movie which is being produced by Kamal Haasan under Raajkamal Films International. After Sundar C’s exit many rumors started spreading about what happened and the future of the project.

Kamal responded today and clarified that they are still searching for the right director and the perfect script for the film.

He said “I am the producer and I must make sure Rajinikanth is fully satisfied. We are listening to many scripts, and the project will start only after Rajinikanth likes one. Also Rajinikanth and I will work together on another film and we will announce it soon”.

Thalaivar 173 is planned for a Sankranthi 2027 release. Rajini is currently busy shooting Jailer 2 which will release next year.
