Kamal Haasan shared a heartfelt moment about Chiranjeevi at the Gaddar Film Awards in Hyderabad.
Calling him his lovely brother Kamal joked that Chiru is his senior in politics but junior in cinema as both became heroes in the 1970’s.
Kamal received the Paidi Jairaj Film Award from Anumula Revanth Reddy and Nagarjuna. He said Telugu actors are like family and the industry whether in Chennai or Hyderabad, is one.
He also clearly spoke about unity in Indian cinema saying there should be no divisions like Bollywood or Tollywood.
Kamal thanked the TG government for honoring Gaddar and recalled his long journey with Singeetham Srinivasa Rao.
