Kamal And Rajini Film Set To Roll This Year

For the past few weeks, there have been many rumors that Tamil director Lokesh Kanagaraj is bringing together two legends, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth, for India’s biggest multi-starrer.

While nothing was confirmed earlier, Kamal Haasan himself revealed the news at the recent SIIMA event. When asked about the project, he said, ‘We will come together’.

Kamal explained that both he and Rajinikanth had plans to collaborate for a long time. He added that the film would be a surprise in terms of business but he couldn’t share more details. “If the audience likes it, we will be happy” he said.

The film is expected to go on floors later this year, with Lokesh Kanagaraj busy preparing for it. The director earlier worked with Kamal in Vikram and with Rajinikanth in Coolie, both huge hits.

Meanwhile, Rajinikanth is working on Jailer 2, while Kamal is yet to announce his next film.
