Twinkle Khanna and Kajol are co-hosting a talk show titled Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle. The latest episode featured actors Vicky Kaushal and Kriti Sanon as special guests.
During the chat Kajol shared several thoughts but her comment about marriage quickly went viral.
Kajol opened that marriages should have a fixed duration with an option to renew rather than being lifelong commitments. Known for her bold and honest opinions she shared this unconventional idea sparking a mix of agreement and debate online.
When Twinkle asked “Should marriage have an expiry date and a renewal option?” both Kriti and Vicky disagreed. Twinkle humorously said, “No, it’s marriage, not a washing machine”.
Kajol replied, “I definitely think so. Who says you’ll marry the right person at the right time? If there’s a renewal option or expiry date, people won’t have to suffer for long”.
