Normally, actresses above 30 years of age are seen as senior actors and they are not normally considered for roles besides young heroes. Even actresses like Jayapradha, Jayasudha had to graduate to senior roles or act with other actors in different languages to keep making movies as lead actresses. Their next generation, Ramya Krishnan and Soundarya had to settle down like that.
But Sridevi proved to be an exception by acting with Amitabh Bachchan, Rishi Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Govinda, Shah Rukh Khan too. In Telugu, she acted with NTR, ANR, Krishna, Chiranjeevi, Sobhan Babu, Nagarjuna and Venkatesh too, as a lead actress. Kajal Aggarwal could be finding such a path even though not as profilic as her. She is not just being asked for senior hero films, she is still finding offers with younger heroes too.
Kajal Aggarwal had earlier confirmed a movie with Bellamkonda Srinivas for a movie to be directed by Krishna. But that movie has be pushed back and a new film in the direction of Srinivas, has been launched recently in a grand fashion. The actress has been approached once again for the lead character and she listened to the script and gave her nod to it. Still, the official confirmation hasn’t come out as the actress is yet to sign on the dotted line.
