Kajal Might Soon Turn 31 but she isn’t Packing up just yet

Actress Kajal Aggarwal is not shy of saying it aloud that she is 31. Shunning popular Tollywood myth that once a heroine turns 30 she should pack up, Kajal told an English daily “It is pretty silly to say that girls in showbiz should dread turning 30. I can’t speak for everyone else, but for me life has just begun. there’s so much to accomplish and I am just raring to go,” says Kajal Aggarwal, who will celebrate her 31st birthday this June.  She has quite a number of films in her kitty. After the role of a princess in Pawan Kalyan’s Sardaar Gabbar Singh, she will be seen in a number of other films.

There’s Brahmotsavam with Mahesh Babu and Vikram-starrer Garuda and Jiva’s Kavalai Vendam in Tamil. She also has a Bollywood flick coming up with Randeep  Bollywood project, Do Lafzon Ki Kahaani, opposite Randeep Hooda, in which she is playing a blind sculptor. Talking about her role she says,  “I had to do a lot of homework to play a blind girl convincingly. I went to a school for the blind in Mumbai where I learnt basic Braille, I interacted with the visually impaired to understand their state of mind, and read a lot of Hellen Keller’s writings to get insights…” says Kajal, adding, “It’s an extremely intense love story and getting into the skin of my character wasn’t easy at all.” While she is quick to accept that her stint in the Hindi film will mark “an important chapter” in her career, Kajal, says she is more than willing to experiment with all kinds of roles.
