Kajal Aggarwal has been busy with multiple projects in Tamil and Telugu. Currently, she is shooting for Kamal Hassan’s Indian 2, directed by Shankar. The shoot of Indian 2 has been put on hold as there was a freak accident that took place on February 19 which claimed the lives of three people and left 12 people injured. Now, there are reports circulating that Kajal Aggarwal has been approached to play the lead role in the Telugu remake of Korean film Dancing Queen. The film, which released in 2012, was directed by Lee Seok-hoon and featured Hwang Jung-min and Uhm Jung-Hwa in the lead roles.
Reportedly, noted producer Suresh Babu has purchased the remake rights of the film. He also confirmed that he has approached Kajal Aggarwal to headline the film. He also stated that the talks are in the nascent stages and will get finalized by the end of May. Allari Naresh and Kajal Aggarwal will wrap up their commitments and join the film’s shoot. If reports are anything to be believed, the makers have also approached Allari Naresh to play the hero. The Korean film titled Dancing Queen follows the story of a young girl, who aspires to become a singer. However, her dreams are crushed when marriage comes in her way. How she deals with the issues and becomes a singer forms the rest of the story.
