The most recent information on Kabzaa is that the director allegedly removed the poster depicting the film’s overall box office haul.
On Friday, Kabzaa, featuring Upendra, was broadcast worldwide. The movie has received incredibly unfavourable reviews from critics ever since it came out. It consequently put on a lacklustre showing on the first day alone, taking in less than 11 crores at the Indian box office. The most recent information we have is that the director has removed the worldwide opening day collection’s official poster.
The most recent Sandalwood film, directed by R Chandru, also features Shriya Saran, Kichcha Sudeep, and Shiva Rajkumar (cameo). The magnum opus was previously hailed as a significant contribution to Sandalwood’s illustrious roster of pan-Indian films. Yet, it now aims to rank as one of the biggest letdowns in recent Kannada film history.
According to reports, Kabzaa’s official international box office collecting poster was revealed by filmmaker R Chandru yesterday. It stated that it made 26 crores on the first day. Yet, the trade report claims that the actual day 1 worldwide collection was less than 15 crores. The director allegedly removed the poster from social media because of the stark disparity in the two figures.
In the past, there have been a number of movies that have released official collection posters that are difficult to believe and raise concerns about the accuracy of box office figures. The director is said to have removed the official poster for Kabzaa’s global collection out of concern for online abuse.
Anand Pandit, one of the Kabzaa producers, has posted the same poster though.
