Kaabil in Telugu as Balam

Hrithik Roshan is one Bollywood hero, who gained a substancial market in Telugu language with his big movies like Krrish, Dhoom2 and Jodha Akbar. These movies did the biggest business among the dubbed movies and Hrithik enjoys a recognition among the Telugu states like no others. After Shah Rukh Khan if any hero can command an opening even in interiors in Telugu States that is undoubtedly Hrithik Roshan. Lately, due to his poor script choices, he lost all the steam and fallen far behind in the race of box office. Even as actor he hasn’t scored much points after the film like Guzaarish. His big ticket movies which were supposed to take him to Hollywood like Kites have failed miserably and his recent releases Bang Bang, Mohenjo-Daro were also failures.

Even though Bang Bang did recover considerable amount of money Mohenjo-Daro completed lost the money.After Krrish3, he is know in a position to again wait for Krrish4 which has been announced by his father director producer Rakesh Roshan for a possible 2019 release. In the meantime Rakesh Roshan decided to produce a film with Hrithik in the direction of Sanjay Gupta, Kaabil. The movie is said to be based on Vikram’s Thandavam. Yami Gautam is playing the female lead in the film. Hrithik will be seen as a blind man who will avenge for his girlfriend’s death.

The movie is now releasing in Telugu as Balam simultaneously with National Hindi version on 26th Jan 2017. The movie is declared to be clashing with long delayed Shah Rukh Khan starrer, Raees directed Rahul Dholakia on same day. Rakesh Roshan completed the shoot of the movie within 77 days and this is a record for Hrithik as his every film took at least an year to complete production. The trailer of the film will release on 26th October.
