Justin: Sita Ramam banned in UAE

Sita Ramam starring Dulquer Salmaan and Mrunal Thakur as the lead pair is all set to hit the screens tomorrow. Directed by Hanu Raghavapudi, star heroine Rashmika Mandanna will be seen in a key role in the movie.

The film is slated for a good release not only in the domestic circuits but also in overseas. Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that Sita Ramam release is banned in UAE.

Sources reveal that Sita Ramam is banned in UAE and GCC countries because of religious sensitivity issues. Looks like the respective governments in UAE are having a problem with the film title that replicates Lord Rama and goddess Sita’s names.
