Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, John Abraham, Ashutosh Rana and Dimple Kapadia in prominent roles is slated to hit the theatres on January 25 in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions simultaneously. Directed by Siddharth Anand of War fame, Pathaan is said to be part of Yash Raj Films’ spy universe. Star hero Salman Khan will be seen in a cameo in this actioner.
The makers released the first video song from Pathaan a few weeks back. Ever since Pathaan has been facing several protests over the visuals in the romantic track between the lead pair( SRK and Deepika Padukone).
A few communal factions are demanding a ban on the film’s release as well as. Now, the latest we hear is that the Gujarat multiplex association approached the government, requesting them for help and provide police force at the cinema halls. As per the reports, the Gujarat police had decided to provide protection to the multiplexes where Pathaan will be screening in the state.
Following the footsteps of Gujarat multiplex association, will other multiplexes across the country approach respective governments for protection during the screening of Pathaan? Remains to be seen.
