Zombie Reddy fame Teja Sajja’s new film, Ishq- Not A Love Story was supposed to hit the screens in April but is postponed due to the Covid crisis. Meanwhile, the latest we hear is that the makers are planning to release the film on July 30th.
Touted as a thriller, the film is a remake of the Malayalam film, Ishq. Being directed by debutant SS Raju, the film has Priya Prakash Varrier in the female lead role. NV Prasad, Paras Jain and Vakada Anjan Kumar produced the film under Megaa Supergood Films banner.
It is well-known that the twin Telugu state governments have given permission for the reopening of theatres a couple of weeks ago. While the Telangana government has completely lifted the occupancy restrictions, the Andhra government has given permission for 50% occupancy. Already Satyadev’s film, Timmasaru is scheduled for a July 30th release and Teja’s Ishq has also joined the same date release date.
