Many Tollywood actors have tried their luck in Bollywood, but few have succeeded. Senior stars like Venkatesh, Chiranjeevi, and Nagarjuna attempted pure Bollywood films but failed to maintain their success. However, with the growth of the pan Indian industry, regional film is acquiring national recognition with solid collections.
Telugu heroes such as Prabhas, Ram Charan, and Jr NTR have amassed a pan-Indian following craze. Prabhas’s latest film “Salaar” and Allu Arjun Pushpa crossed 100 crores in the Hindi market, while Charan and NTR Jr.’s “RRR” earned them nationwide fame.
NTR is taking it a step further by joining the cast of “War 2” alongside Hrithik Roshan. This is a different challenge for Jr NTR, as he will be sharing the screen with an actor known for his exceptional screen presence with Hritik Roshan. While NTR is a talented performer, Hrithik Roshan is renowned for his good looks. It will be interesting to see how NTR fares in this new challenge.
Unlike other Telugu heroes who debuted in Bollywood with solo films, NTR is entering the market alongside a established star like Hrithik Roshan. This is a bigger task, and it remains to be seen if Tarak can prove himself as the best among the rest.
