Speaking at the pre-release event of Amigos, hero Nandamuri Kalyan Ram said, “I think the dual role trend started with our grandfather Senior NTR with the film Ramudu Bheemudu, sorry if it was a mistake. Later, Balayya Babai, Chiranjeevi garu, & brother NTR all played dual & triple roles. All of those films had one thing in common, they were all from the same family and for the first time, Amigos will tell the story of three doppelgangers who are not related.
Concluding his speech, Kalyan Ram said”You’ve always blessed me with your love, and with that trust, I’ve always done films of various genres. And thank you for putting up with me for the past 18 years. Truly”. He also thanked his brother Tarak for always being his supporting system.
On the other hand, after giving his speech NTR took a small class to the fans who have been shouting for #NTR30. Generalizing the scenario, NTR asked not only his fans but also other hero fans to stop pressurizing the production houses, directors, and heroes for film updates. He even requested fans to stay calm and wait for some interesting updates on films and not drag the issue by keep on asking for updates. Finally, as kick-ass news for the fans, Tarak revealed that his next under the direction of Koratala Siva will have its formal launch in this month itself and go on the sets on or before March 20th. As already announced by the makers, #NTR30 will have a theatrical release on April 5, 2024, concluded NTR.
Coming back to Amigos, the film has Kannada beauty Ashika Ranganath as the female lead. Bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers banner, Amigos is directed by Rajendra Reddy and also has Brahmaji in a key role. Ghibran is the music composer for Amigos which is slated to hit the screens on February 10th.
