Telugu Film Industry is known for the hit combinations and fans of the actors and directors also would be waiting for their next outing and they would be expecting nothing less than the previous hit that they have delivered. Such combinations in TFI are never rare but maintaining a success rate and interest in the combination over the years, is the major highlight. Over the years, Chandamama combines and Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao had a great outing as a production house and lead actor combination. The movies they have collaborated are such gems in 85 years of history of Telugu Cinema. Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Adurti Subba Rao is another such combination. ANR had Annapurna Pictures and Jagapathi Art Pictures as permanent collaborators too. Krishna and Krishnam Raju maintained their own production houses and frequently collaborated with then directors.
Another great successful combination has been Chiranjeevi with Kondandarami Reddy. The duo made 28 films in total and several of them became successful. Balakrishna – B.Gopal and Nagarjuna – K Raghavendra Rao are also highly regarded successful collaborations in TFI. Now, for the latest generation of stars such collaborations are very rare to find but Jr. NTR with SS Rajamouli and VV Vinayak are the most awaited combinations. After giving Aadi, Samba and Adhurs, the duo is apparently back to make another film and this will be produced by Adhurs producers Nallamallapu Bujji and Vallabhaneni Vamsi. The movie is touted to be sequel to Adhurs but it could be another story too. Details are awaited.
