Abhishek Bachchan recently opened up in a talk about how Apoorva Lakhia referred to him as the Batman of Bollywood and what he thought of it.
There is no need to introduce Abhishek Bachchan. Over the past 20 years or more, the actor has entertained audiences with performances on the big screen and in digital mediums, earning him millions of fans around the world. However, following filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia’s claim that the actor from “Dhoom” is Batman if Bollywood stars are all superheroes, Jr. Bachchan has stated that he is “very embarrassed.”
Mumbai Se Aya Mera Dost, which was released in 2003, starred Abhishek and Apoorva. The actor has spoken up about how he feels after hearing this statement, which made news last month.
Abhishek Bachchan responded recently when filmmaker Apoorva Lakhia referred to him as the Batman of Bollywood. The ‘Dasvi’ star confessed, “I feel very ashamed. To me, Apu (poorva) is family. He immediately felt like family when we first met him when he came to pitch Mumbai Se Aaya Mera Dost. Over 20 years have passed since he first entered my life.
Abhishek Bachchan continued, “He’s a close collaborator of mine, he’s like my elder brother. He’s a part of every momentous occasion in my life – be it my wedding or my daughter’s birth or any milestone. He’s considered family at home as well. So, I think his emotions towards me may have made him say that.”
For those who are unaware, Apoorva Lakhia claimed that Abhishek Bachchan is unmatched during a conversation with Sidharth Kannan last month. The director referred to him as more than just Amitabh Bachchan’s child and Aishwarya Rai’s husband when he stated, “If everyone is a superhero in the film industry, let’s say Salman Khan is Superman, Shah Rukh Khan is Spiderman, then Abhishek is Batman.”
The Apoorva explained his reasoning by stating, “(It’s) because he is not a superhero, he is a human being. Like Bruce Wayne, he is a likeable human being who comes from a wealthy family but is humble and wants to assist others. I frequently claim that I am a human superhero, and Bachchan, Abhishek
