Joke of the decade: RRR for OTT?

These days there are many speculations being circulated as official news. The other day Bollywood media has started to speculated that Rajamouli directorial RRR is going to have OTT release. Other than closing the deal with OTT platforms, makers of RRR are contemplating starting their own platform and stream the movie for a price. The audience will have to pay a certain amount to watch the movie.

Looking at these speculations, one cannot stop himself but laugh. Rajamouli movies are known for their grandeur. His stories are larger than life and his direction will breathtaking. There will be numerous hair-raising moments in his films and they can enjoy to the fullest if it is a theatrical experience. Moreover, RRR is being made on a mammoth budget of around 300 Crore rupees. How can one think it can be recoverable with OTT release? These are such baseless rumors one can ever hear.
