Johnny Lever, also part of Rohit Shetty’s ‘Cirkus,’ recently spoke out about the film’s failure. The master comedian also admitted that they made some mistakes, but nothing can be done about it now. In an interview with a news portal, Johnny stated that every director thinks carefully about the film and that no one wants to lose money because they invest heavily in the film financially and emotionally. He said whatever work they did at ‘Cirkus’ was appreciated.
He also stated that there could have been some errors in the film that people didn’t like, which is why the film didn’t work. However, there is nothing that can be done about it right now. According to Johnny, people look forward to comedy and expect it from us all the time. In the lead roles of ‘Cirkus,’ Ranveer Singh, Jacqueline Fernandez, Pooja Hegde, and Varun Sharma appeared. It also starred actors such as Siddharth Jadhav, Murali Sharma, Sanjay Mishra, and Ashwini Kalsekar.
Johnny has appeared in over 300 Hindi films, though he has only appeared in one or two per year in recent years. He received two Filmfare Awards for Best Performance in a Comedy Role: Deewana Mastana (1997) and Dulhe Raja (1998). (1998). In that category, the veteran was nominated 13 times.
