John Abraham Opens Up On Political Films And Madras Cafe Inspiration

John Abraham is known for acting in films based on political and national issues and for openly speaking about related controversies.

He is considered one of Bollywood talented actors with movies like Pathaan in his filmography. In real life he keeps a low profile and let his work speak for him.

In a recent interview John said he is not into politics but never avoids political scripts. Speaking about his film Madras Cafe he recalled a childhood memory when his mother told him about Rajiv Gandhi’s assassination.

The news of Rajiv Gandhi left a deep impact on him even though he did not clearly understand and had no idea why his family was mourning.

He credited director Shoojit Sircar for making Madras Cafe so beautifully. Interestingly it was supposed to be his first production, but Vicky Donor was made and released before it.
