A few days ago Jayam Ravi announced his separation from his wife, Aarti, and issued a public statement about it. Aarti didn’t respond immediately but later posted a letter saying the decision was made without her consent. She also mentioned that she made a try to talk to her husband about it but could not reach him.
She said “I was deeply shocked and saddened by the recent public announcement about our marriage, which was made without my knowledge or consent. After 18 years together, I believe such an important matter should have been handled with respect and privacy”.
“I have tried to speak with my husband to address this issue directly, but I was unable to. Both my children and I were blindsided by this announcement. The decision to end our marriage was made solely by him and did not consider what was best for our family”.
“Despite the pain, I have tried to stay dignified and avoid public comments until now. It has been difficult to deal with false narratives that unfairly blame me and attack my character. My top priority is the well being of my children, and I will not let these false claims go unaddressed”.
“I hope that our situation’s full context will be understood in time. I also want to thank the press, media, and our fans for their support over the years. Your kindness and love have been a great support, and I appreciate your respect for our privacy during this tough time”.
