Arjunan Jr. and Jayam Ravi’s upcoming movie, Genie, has been announced. The cast list and title poster are available.
Jayam Ravi is scheduled to star in his next movie, tentatively named JR32, after wowing everyone with his performance in Ponniyin Selvan. The actor revealed Genie, a movie he would be starring in with Arjunan Jr. The film’s female leads are Wamiqa Gabbi, Kalyani Priyadarshan, and Krithi Shetty.
The movie’s creators revealed the cast and title on Twitter. They stated: “We are excited to announce our PAN-INDIAN production, which is sure to enthral audiences everywhere! #Genie Produced by @VelsFilmIntl, starring @actor_jayamravi and @IshariKGanesh A musical by @arrahman and a beautiful performance by #ArjunJr.
Today in Chennai, Genie performed an official puja ritual before going on the floors. The movie’s cast and crew were present during the event.
A few images from the Genie launch ceremony have appeared on social media and are becoming popular. At the ceremony, the leading ladies posed with Jayam Ravi and looked lovely. Kalyani Priyadarshan, a Malayalam actress, expressed her enthusiasm for Genie by writing, “Super pleased to be a part of this guy! With this fascinating screenplay, incredible staff, and entertaining actors, #Genie has already fulfilled the majority of my wishes.
The Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman is on board to provide the soundtrack for the pan-Indian movie, which is funded by Vels Film International. Mahesh Muthuswami and Pradeep E. Ragav will handle the filming and editing for Genie, respectively. Soon, Genie will be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Hindi, and Malayalam across the globe.
Jayam Ravi is currently anticipating the release of Ahmed’s upcoming flick Iraivan. Nayanthara plays the lead female role in the movie. The movie Iraivan will premiere on August 25, 2023. According to reports, Jayam Ravi will play a police officer in the movie.
The actor has a forthcoming role in Siren with Keerthy Suresh and Anupama Parameshwaran. A movie with no title, directed by M. Rajesh, was also announced. The female leads are Priyanka Arul Mohan and Bhumika Chawla.
