Recently, Tamil actor Jayam Ravi spoke candidly about the process of making his most recent movie, Aligan.
The Tamil film Agilan, starring Jayam Ravi, had its global debut on ZEE5 after having a successful run at the box office. It was released in theatres on March 10th. The thriller, which is directed by N. Kalyanakrishnan and features Jayam in a dual part as both a father and a son, takes a neo-noir approach.
Cutthroat crane operator Agilan will do anything to rule dominant over the seedy underbelly of the Indian Ocean. Agilan smuggles narcotics and other contraband into and out of the nation for a kingpin by the name of Paranthaman thanks to his access to the harbour. (Hareesh Peradi). When the chance presents itself, Agilan makes every effort to become known as the “King of the Indian Ocean” by completing a crucial assignment while being pursued by the strict and hysterical special officer Gokul Mehta (Chirag Jani). But as his sinister journey progresses, his unexpected backstory gives his evil acts a completely new perspective.
In addition to Priya Bhavani Shankar, Harish Uthaman, Tany Ravichandran, Chirag Jani, Hareesh Peradi, Tarun Arora, and Madhusudhan Rao, the movie is produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment. Agilan is the third project that writer-director Kalyanakrishnan has worked on with Jayam Ravi. Agilan is a compelling film with photography handled by Vivek Anand, editing handled by N Ganesh Kumar, and music provided by Sam CS.
