Jawaan is the new film starring Sai Dharam Tej and Mehreen Prizada Kaur. The movie has been scheduled for a release on 1st of December. It has completed all the necessary censor formalities and the director, BVS Ravi looked confident and relaxed in his press interaction. He talked about the movie and also, the basic ideology behind the story.
He said, “I made Wanted, to please my producers and did predict it becoming a big failure. I could not control the damage as I realised it very late. Being the first film director, I made many mistakes and since then I have been waiting for a good opportunity to direct and corect myself. I am confident that Jawaan will be that good opportunity for me. Sai Dharam Tej did give a good performance and we are sure to hit the bullseye this time around.”
He continued, “RSS might be looked as a radical force but the ideology of the organisation is to dedicate one son from every family for Nation. They will protect the values culturally and also fight for Nation and it’s pride as a soldier. As I agree with the ideology and not people I don’t think this is any wrong move. I enjoyed making this movie and Thaman gave highly original score for this movie. I had apprehensions before going to him but he did not require any reference neither did he copy. His background score is mind-blowing. This film is a cat and mouse game with patriotism as the main theme.” He also said that censor board appreciated them for making a clean movie that all family members can watch.
