Jathi Ratnalu’s sequel on the cards, but…

Jathi Ratnalu, the fun entertainer starring Naveen Polishetty, Priyadarshi, Rahul Ramakrishna and Faria Abdullah in the lead roles went on to become a huge blockbuster at the box office. Not only in the domestic market, the film even had a sensational run in the US.

This Anudeep directorial was bankrolled by Mahanati director Nag Ashwin under Swapna Cinema banner. After Jathi Ratnalu humongous success, news came out that director Anudeep is keen on making a sequel to the comic capper but there is no update on it later.

Now, the fresh buzz circulating among media circles is that Anudeep, who is currently working on a fresh script will sit on Jathi Ratnalu sequel after wrapping up the committed movie. News is also circulating that the sequel film will have the US backdrop.
