Earlier this year released Jathi Ratnalu, a comedy caper went on to become a huge hit at the box office. Directed by Anudeep KV, the film has Naveen Polishetty, Priyadarshi, Rahul Ramakrishna, Faria Abdullah among others in the key role.
Meanwhile, the latest news coming in from Bollywood media is that using his good contacts in the Hindi industry a couple of days back, Naveen Polishetty approached reputed filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala to remake the film in Hindi. Reportedly, after watching the film, the senior producer felt that though the film has is thoroughly entertaining, Sajid somewhere felt that the premise and the typical one-liners in the film may not work in Hindi.
Buzz is also that even though Sajid’s decision has disappointed Naveen Polishetty he has been getting fancy offers from other production houses to remake Jathi Ratnalu in Hindi. An official confirmation regarding Jathi Ratnalu’s Hindi remake is expected soon.
But being a hard-core fan of Southern content, Sajid Nadiadwala rejecting Naveen Polishetty’s proposal has now become a hot topic among film circles.
