For a long time now, Tollywood filmmakers have been trying to rope in Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor, the daughter of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor, in any of ouro Telugu movies. Her name has been considered for many films in recent times, including Trivikram and Mahesh’s film. However, none of those plans worked out, and Janhvi is yet to sign a project in Telugu.
According to the latest reports, Janhvi’s name is being considered for Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s film Icon, with director Venu Sriram. It is already known that Bunny is planning to start shooting for this film as soon as he wraps up the first part of Pushpa with Sukumar. Icon is also expected to wrap up much before the second part of Pushpa begins shooting.
The preproduction works for the film are currently going on, and the film is being produced by Dil Raju. On the other hand, the shooting of Pushpa is going on at a rapid pace, and the first song from the film, Dakko Dakko Meka, which was released recently, has been receiving rave responses. Rashmika Mandanna is the leading lady of the film, while Malayalam actor Fahadh Faasil is playing the lead antagonist in the film.
