At the trailer launch of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, Janhvi Kapoor spoke about her marriage plans. She said that right now her focus is entirely on her career and films not on getting married.
Although her upcoming film revolves around a grand wedding Janhvi is not ready to tie the knot yet. She is in a relationship with Shikhar Pahariya, grandson of former Maharashtra leader Sushilkumar Shinde and younger brother of actor Veer Pahariya.
Speaking at the launch Janhvi said, “My focus is only on films at the moment. There is plenty of time for wedding planning”.
In an interview, she added that she wants a small, private wedding in Tirupati with Manish Malhotra designing her outfit.
She also praised married actresses like Kareena, Deepika, Alia and Kiara for breaking the stigma that marriage ends a woman’s career.
Janhvi emphasized she wants to give her best to marriage when the time is right without compromising her career.
