Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth are two of the biggest stars in Indian cinema. Both of them have now jumped into politics and bears social responsibility. The two actors used their social media presence to issue advice to people regarding the coronavirus scare. Rajinikanth, in his video said, “With the Prime Minister calling for Janata Curfew on March 22nd, India prepares to avoid crucial Stage 3 community transmission of coronavirus in the country. Italy tried implementing a similar nationwide curfew to prevent Stage 3, but to the lack of support from the citizens, the efforts failed, resulting in the death of thousands of people to the pandemic (sic).”
Politician Kamal Haasan gave some tips to use the free time to bond with family and learn something that you have been trying to master for a long time. He said, “Catch a movie at home. Pick up a book and read. Subscribe for online courses for your kids. It is important that you stay healthy to earn for your family. The upcoming two weeks are extremely important. We should be responsible. Do not be overconfident that you won’t contract the virus. It is important that we shouldn’t be the carrier for the virus.Let’s beat this.”
