Thalapathy Vijay’s latest film Jana Nayagan directed by H. Vinoth is facing delays due to issues with the censor process.
Because of this the release has been postponed and many rumours started spreading. Reports claimed that the film was cut by more than 20 minutes and that the censor board asked the makers to remove scenes and edit the movie. These rumours created confusion among many.
Tamil producer G. Dhananjayan clarified the issue on X and strongly denied all trimming and re-editing claims.
He said the producers have not even decided on a censor date yet and asked people not to believe false news. He also explained that the censor matter is linked to a court case, and updates will come only officially.
The confusion started after the makers approached the Madras High Court over the delay. Until censor clearance is received, the team is waiting. Jana Nayagan stars Bobby Deol, Pooja Hegde, Prakash Raj, and Mamitha Baiju .
