Jana Nayagan Release Strategy Shifts

There is growing buzz about the release of Vijay’s Jana Nayagan, with reports suggesting a change in plans.

Earlier, many thought the film would release after election results to avoid political sensitivity. But now, things seem different.

The team is expected to get censor clearance this week. If all goes well the makers are planning to release the film soon after polling, possibly on April 24th. As a backup April 30th is also being considered.

If the film releases on these dates it may affect other movies planned around the same time. In Telugu states competition may be less but screen sharing could still be an issue.

Releasing before election results might also help the film avoid political impact.
