Jana Nayagan: OTT Deal In Trouble After Release Delay

The much awaited film Jana Nayagan starring Vijay is facing too many delays due to some censor issues as everyone know.

It was planned to be released in January 2026 but the release has been postponed and the new date is still in confusion and yet to be announced.

The Revising Committee still needs to watch the film and issue the censor certificate.

Earlier Amazon Prime Video had acquired the digital rights for around Rs. 120 crore for all languages. However, because of the delay in the film’s release, the platform has reportedly withdrawn from the deal.

This has created pressure on the makers since the film has a huge budget of about Rs. 500 crore. The movie is directed by H. Vinoth and produced by KVN Productions.
