Rajinikanth’s Jailer 2 continues to remain in the news amid several rumours about its release and censor process.
There has been speculation about Telugu rights, pending work and a possible postponement with reports suggesting that the film could miss its October 15th release date.
There were also claims that the makers might trim some violent scenes to secure a U/A certificate, as the film was reportedly heading towards an A certificate.
However the Jailer 2 team has clarified that the October 15th release remains unchanged. The makers are also not planning to tone down the film.
Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, the sequel to Jailer is expected to face competition from Dhanush’s OM and Vijay Deverakonda’s Ranabaali.
