Nandamuri Balakrishna has been releasing his movies for Sankranthi season without fail. Last three movies of his that released for Sankranthi, including Jai Simha, proved to collect decent money at the box office, making the hero a consistent money earner for the season. His Dictator, Gautamiputra Satakarni remained good money earners but Soggade Chinni Nayana, Nannaku Prematho, Khaidi No.150 and Satamanam Bhavathi ended up as winners in previous seasons, respectively.
Now, even though the movie did not out gross, Pawan Kalyan’s Agnyathavasi, purely on return of investment and number of foot-falls basis, the movie ended up as the topper among the films released. It collected a total of 21 crores share, approximately for the extended 5 day holiday weekend and for the movie to become breakeven, it needs another 6 crores in share and if it manages to collect 27 crores, then it will be first C.Kalyan and Balakrishna movie to achieve such status.
