It is widely known that digital giant Netflix has acquired the streaming rights for acclaimed Tamil actor-filmmaker duo Dhanush and Karthik Subbaraj’s most awaited crime thriller, Jagame Thandhiram. Meanwhile, this morning, Netflix management has unveiled the theatrical trailer of the film.
Going by the promo, it is evident that the film is going to offer a gangster drama in a most authentic manner. The trailer kick-starts with the first glimpses of Scottish actor James Cosmo as the leader of the criminal operations. How a small-time gangster from Tamil Nadu named Suruli Rajan becomes a part of the deadly game unknowingly? Later, how will Suruli emerge as the king of the gangster world in London? Is expected to be presented with some high voltage action in the proceedings.
The 2-minute trailer has some outstanding background score by Santhosh Narayanan which elevates every scene. Adding to it, terrific visuals create a solid impression and raises expectations among the digital audience. Young actress Aishwarya Lekshmi is the female lead in Jagame Thandhiram and also stars Joju George and Kalaiyarasan in supporting roles. The film was originally bankrolled by S Sashikanth. The film is gearing up for grand premieres on Netflix on 18th June.
